Rear Extension in Lingfield

This rear extension project in Lingfield was designed to completely transform the back of the property into a bright, open-plan family space with a strong balance of traditional styling and modern structural design. Extensive steelwork was installed to create large open spans throughout the build, alongside a full knock-through to open the property up and improve the overall flow of the home.

A large vaulted ceiling with multiple Velux windows and oversized rear glazing was incorporated to flood the new extension with natural light and create a real sense of space across the kitchen and living area. The project also included a traditional shaker-style kitchen installation, new flooring throughout and a separate utility room discreetly accessed via a pocket door.

The finished result is a bright, spacious extension that combines structural transformation with traditional interior finishes, creating a modern family living area that feels both open and functional.
